Job Description

Our Client is one of the longest and most reputable facade specialist , they are now looking for facade Designer to Design Manager to work on their high profile building projects. Responsibilities:

• To supervise and co-ordinate the works with Draftsman(s) and report to the Chief Designer on various aspects of the project.
• To develop design drawings from 'Tender and/or Design Intent' with the help of the Designer(s).
• To ensure that all drawings submission can fulfill the Contracts / Architect’s requirements.
• To verify the Curtain Wall fixing details with structural layout / details.
• To prepare Curtain Wall detail for engineering calculations.
• To obtain approval from the Client / Architect and organize submission for the Building Department.
• To ensure all drawings issued to the Client or inter-office are checked and logged.
• To issue all construction drawings to Projects Team.
• To maintain proper filing record of drawing transmittal and project correspondence.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in curtain wall / window wall design and drafting.
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory capacity and able to work independently.
• Familiar with 3D and AutoCAD is a must.
• Ability to propose any design and technical solutions.
• Ability to supervise a group of junior staff and must be a good team player.
• Experience in developing of curtain wall details from architectural drawings independently
