Responsibilities

• Deliver Undergraduate programmes in the area of Accounting
• To deliver lectures, conduct seminars and/ or tutorials, perform duties at different teaching venues, wherever applicable;
• Develop and prepare course materials, such as teaching materials, lesson plans;
• Prepared required documentation for grading and reporting on student progress;
• To provide guidance on students’ academic writing and projects;
• To act as a marker and second marker or internal moderator for student assignments and projects;
• To participate in school projects and functions, accreditation, validation, moderation, staff development workshops, seminars and conferences, where necessary;
• To carry out academic related programme administrative duties, including serving in academic and other related meetings, and any other teaching and administrative duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• Minimum Master Degree in a relevant discipline or other relevant professional qualifications; Doctorate Degree is an added advantage;
• A minimum 5 years relevant teaching experience in tertiary education;
• A minimum 10 years’ experience in a relevant discipline;
• Excellent communication skills including good command of English
• Able to teach day time &/ or evening classes;
• Able to motivate students to achieve and fulfil their potential;
• Able to demonstrate the ability to move the programme forward and improve success rates;
• Relevant industrial practice experiences for qualification of HKCAAVQ accreditation
• Expected to possess strong commitment to teaching excellence
• Be flexible and able to adapt in relation to the changing needs of the department.
