• Review and comment on the Contractor Building Services sub-programmes on works progress and major equipment delivery programme.
• Monitor the progress of the BS works and workmanship, report defects and observation on any programme slippage
• Carry out daily inspection and assist the BSI on preparation of daily report of the building services works and check for conformity with drawings and specification and installation programme matching Main Contractor programme
• Attend Contractor's site progress meetings, BS meeting, CSD and CBWD site review meetings. Report to project teams of any issues when they arise and prepare monthly BSI report details.
• Liaise with Residential Architect, Resident Structural Engineers and COW on all site matters, particularly the BS interface works on construction sequence and installation details
• Order removal from site of any non-compliance on non-approved BS materials / equipment.
• Review of the building services works, such as concealed conduit works, and setting out in conjunction with the Main Contractor and Resident Architect/ COW
• Attend all utility meetings on services connection, programme of relevant BW and Civil works on site and report findings
• Co-ordinate and schedule inspection of defects and T&C works to suit Main Contractor's work
• Attend, monitor and report T&C of building services installations during construction stage for works completed in stages
• Attend with design team for all pre-FSD, Pre-OP inspection meetings, and all statutory inspections
• Work with the site safety team to ensure the building services works on site are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with client's safety requirements.

Requirement:

• A diploma / higher certificate holder in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering discipline.
• Have passed the Chinese language and English language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE or met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or equivalent.
• At least 4-5 years overall experience and part of the experience must have been in the capacity of an ABSI including site activities in the field of building services.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
