Position: Quantity Surveyor

Below vacancy has arisen in the dedicated team of one of our client’s landmark audio-visuals solutioning project, if you have the right skill set and take pride in building for the future of Hong Kong, this is an opportunity that you should not miss:

Job Responsibilities:

•        Handle pre-and post-contract quantity surveying duties for the assigned project(s).
•        Maintain tender and contract documents, handle material taking off and pricing and conduct site measurement of material and equipment and prepare corresponding order. 
•        Prepare and monitor project budget and costing, extension of time claims, payment application/valuation of variation plus certification of payment for subcontracts, materials, and plants, also manage final account settlement, insurance, and contractual claims.
•        Attend site inspections, visits, site meetings, tender interviews when required and support negotiations with main-contractor, sub-contractor/suppliers.
•        Compile report including, daily report, survey report, progress reports etc.
•        Coordination work with subcontractors, consultants, clients etc.
•        Handle ad hoc duties and assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

•        Degree / Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
•        3-5 years’ relevant engineering and construction site experience gained in main-contractor or sub-contractor side.
•        "Green Card" holder.
•        Good at contract administration and excellent quantity surveying skills, accounting experience will be beneficial.
•        Good team player with presentation and analytical skills, sound judgement and attentive to details plus able to learn and work under pressure.
•        Proactive, self-motivated, independent with good communication, interpersonal and client-facing skills.
•        Advanced numeracy skills and proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint in particular.  
•        Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
•        Required frequent commute between office and work sites.
•        Immediate availability preferred.
