Being Hong Kong's energy infrastructure specialist, Kum Shing has been actively exploring opportunities in EPC business relating to green energy which will become a growing driver in the energy market in HK and beyond.  The business group seeks to engage in project and equity investment opportunities relating to renewable energy infrastructure development. Targeting infrastructure asset owners and managers, KS offers EPC contracting services and other product related services to enhance their operational performance in relation to sustainability.

We are looking for a high caliber and highly motivated professional to lead our team of specialists and expand in the renewable energy market.  Reporting to the Head of Electrical & Mechanical, the appointee will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in business development activities, including growing our portfolio of EPC business and other services across a range of sectors from renewable energy, EV Charger infrastructure system, waste-to-energy, energy efficiency, smart lighting, smart control and innovative applications to the management and development of energy and mobility infrastructure assets.
• Drive and take ownership of business development efforts and work cross-functionally, coordinating with the respective engineering line departments and supporting functions, to accomplish desirable goals.
• Integrate new trends of innovation in technology with the Group's core business to strengthen its ongoing capabilities.

 Requirements

• Degree holder in electrical or relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer and / or corporate member of engineering institutes in electrical discipline (candidates with proven professional engineering exposure leading to Chartered Engineer and/or corporate member of engineering institute will also be considered).
• Minimum 8 years solid and relevant experience in renewable energy, EV Charger Systems, utilities or relevant industries, with over 3 years managerial experience and proven leadership in large complex projects.
• With professional insights of the construction industry as well as green energy and delivery market in particular.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with good interpersonal skills and innovative mind-sets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Chinese).  Good knowledge of Putonghua is a benefit.
• The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
