Job Description

• Prepare temporary works design including ELS, design reports, method statement and technical proposals as a representatives of main contractor;
• Coordinate with operation teams and designers regarding the preparation, submission, amendment, construction and modification of temporary works design;
• Assist in alternative design to permanent works to meet the client and statutory requirements;
• Liaise with clients and sub-contractors for design submission;
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent;
• 3-year relevant experience in major civil or building projects of main contractors;
• Experience in temporary works and/ or permanent works design;
• Familiar with latest design standards/ codes and government submission procedures;
• Self-motivated, good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Design Engineer.
