Job Description

Responsibilities:
  1.  Scope: Lead a team of engineers and specialists in the technical and engineering aspects of process plants (more particularly in waste-to-energy plant, power plant and municipal solid waste treatment facility and its auxiliaries) particularly related to Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation.
  2. Engineering Work: Conduct engineering work for instrumentation, control, automation and information system of projects including its system integration, logic control, P&ID, functional description, technical specification, configuration and related standards in compliance with specification requirements & related code of practice.
  3. Engineering Management: Provide leadership for packages on the design, construction, project implementation, technical performance, value engineering, in alignment with project schedule, quality, deliverable, scope, cost and management.
  4. Engineering Management: Coordinate and manage consultants during project development, project implementation, construction, technical due diligence, study, evaluation etc.
  5. Project Management: Implement project execution. Manage, track and report progress/technical deviations/matters that could impact project. Also to provide recommendation, solution and finding related to technical perspective.
  6. Communication: Liaise with Engineering Hubs in Singapore and Belgium on the plant design, technical proposal, construction, project implementation, system integration, technology development & evaluation.
  7. Process: Coordinate design, engineering, system review, interfaces, including but not limited to design, construction, installation, commissioning and O&M interfaces whilst maintaining good working relationships with clients, partners, consultants, subcontractors etc.
  8. Process: Ensure implementation and compliance of Quality Management System, Risk Management and EHS requirement for the Project.
  9. Any tasks or jobs assigned by Management.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of experience in engineering/design management, construction, testing and commissioning of process plant systems e.g. HV System, LV System, DCS, PLC, instrumentation & control etc..
  • Experience in project execution of complete power plant and waste-to-energy plant including the planning, design, construction, commissioning, management, technical due diligence, operations and it’s setting up.
  • At least 5 years in managerial position in supervising a team of engineers, technical specialist and operational staff.
  • Experience in auxiliaries such as water and wastewater will be added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organizational skill and ability to manage resources for effective project implementation.
  • Exceptional communication skills and reporting skills; meticulous and self-driven. Experience in commercial/contractual matters will be an advantage.
  • Well versed in Quality Assurance, HSE matters and contract management.
