(Contract Based)
Duties:

• In charge of environmental matters of Airport APM project
• Review and implement environmental policies / procedures
• Attending environmental related meetings, site inspections, audits etc.
• Preparing environmental related reports / documents based on Statutory and Client’s requirement
• Advise on measures to be taken in the interest of environmental protection, and implement such measures
• Check and ensure that any polluting or potentially polluting situation is promptly rectified
• Arrange and provide the environmental training including the site specific induction training and toolbox talks for the staff and workers, and to organize environmental promotional activities
• Advise the contractor on the implementation of an environmental management system
• Other Project Matters

Requirements:

a) A corporate member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) in Environmental Discipline, or the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP) or equivalent; or
b) A corporate member of a professional institution (e.g. HKIE other than in the Environmental Discipline, or the Hong Kong Institute of Architects or the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors etc.); or
c) A person having at least seven (7) years of experience in environmental management, monitoring and auditing of construction activities, and in possession of a diploma or above in environmental studies or environmental engineering awarded by a local or overseas tertiary educational institution.
