Reporting to the Business Unit Head of Hotels and Serviced Apartments, this role will champion sales as well as performing a leading role in formulating winning sales strategies towards maximizing hotel revenues and profits.

 The Job

• Develop strategies for growth, business development.
• Establish annual  budgets and rolling forecasts
• Train and lead  the sales team to develop new markets and approach clients professionally
• Review all markets, consumer trends, activities of competitors continuously and initiate strategies to win market share.
• Perform business analytics and monitor performance of distribution channels, key and other accounts
• Work closely with Revenue Team to ensure  all  distribution channels, such as brand.com, GDS, CRO, Wholesale, are correctly priced and rate parity is effectively maintained.
• Create lucrative business relations with corporate clients, travel, trade, OTA, airlines, TMC’s, DMC’s, associations and chambers, etc.
• Collaborate with the Group’s marketing team on communication strategies, overall branding and image as well as creating a calendar of campaigns and events in line with brand positioning and developing tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively

• University graduate in Hotel Management  or related disciplines
• Profound sales experience in renowned hotel group with at least 7 years of experience as managerial level or above
• Proven track record of success in driving aggressive sales and profits targets
• Be an invincible leader to optimize team performance
• Agility in business foresight with sound analytical mind and presentation skill
• Possession a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills
• Proficient in MS  Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Chinese and Putonghua
