Company Description

Our client is a decant hotel operation in Hong Kong. Due to the business needs, they are inviting experienced candidate to join and lead their modern Izakaya style restaurant as Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality and creative Japanese food products to meet customer expectation and satisfaction
• Create and develop new menu on regular basis
• Prepare and file the recipes and ensure the inventory is well-controlled
• Responsible for the food quality control, food & manpower cost control and wastage control
• Responsible for the daily kitchen operation
• Work closely with the Executive Chef of culinary on new product, promotion and food quality improvement
• Maintain the hygiene & safety level in the kitchen based on corporate standard
• Provide the staff training to ensure the food quality meets corporate standard
• Work closely with the restaurant manager for new menu presentation and promotion execution

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant Japanese cuisine experience
• Be flexible to react on the operation and hotel policies changes
• Self -motivated and a good team player
• Be creative on developing new menus
• Solid knowledge and experience on authentic and modern Japanese cuisine
• Japanese is welcome. Work visa transfer will be provided
