Role Purpose:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible to build new technology supporting business processes and working practices, to balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.

A typical day in this Role: 

• Gather, understand and document the business objective for all projects and enhancements from different business units
• Build new technology supporting business processes and working practices
• Proactively anticipate, quantify, and resolve problems and issues with requirements and/or deliverables
• Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications
• Develop, define, and build technology bias business cases that will enable business and technology change
• Recommend technology solutions to improve business decision-making with a focus on the core systems, technology strategies and standards
• Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges
• Participate in implementation of new business processes and functions
• Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures

What we look for:

• University (or college) graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and functional testing
• Have a good understanding of Retail Store, Digital, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Logistics will be a plus
• Excellent understanding of technology life cycles and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems
• Demonstrates a strong awareness of the uses of IT within the industry sector and specifically within competitive or associated organizations operating in the same market
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills and highly experienced at dealing with clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups
• Proactive, good analytical mind, able to work independently
