Job Description

We are looking for highly capable candidates for the role of Program Manager who will facilitate effective cross-functional technology implementation and ongoing business development opportunities at our key retailer clients.

The Job

In this role they work closely with the key senior stakeholders at the client side (transformation team, product owners, IT teams and relevant business teams), to enhance and develop the relationship, and ensure that the key programs and projects are effectively executed, are aligned with both parties’ strategies and are commercial successes for both parties

The Program Manager will be responsible for overall management of client programs and relevant relationship, including:

  • Day to day relationship management and responsible for the ways-of-working
  • Be accountable for the successful delivery and timeline for key programs under responsibility 
  • Provide leadership and direction on project overall activities, act as primary contact point for the client for any ‘unowned’ challenges and escalation point 
  • Collaborating with technology teams, drive new capability requirements from client. Where needed, represent client at development discussions, inputting client use cases and scenarios. Meanwhile, be prepared to push back if the ROI for both client and RTA platform is not evident 
  • Collaborate with technology teams to monitor SLAs and program progress, manage risks, and facilitate the resolution of challenges 
  • Collaborating with technology teams, communicate program progress and timeline to clients, as well as up and coming capabilities and release times 
  • Organize and/or attend program governance meetings
The Person 

  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building and networking skills 
  • Experience in facilitating multiple work streams simultaneously 
  • Excellent team player, able to bring different skills and personalities together in a cohesive and productive way 
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong presentation skills - both preparation and delivery 
  • Proven experience in problem solving and issue resolution
  • Ability to understand technical complex subjects and technologies
  • Comfortable communicating with large groups of people 
  • Experience of a client-facing role (account management, solutions management etc) at B2B technology organizations
  • IT program management/business analyst/change management/transformation management experience also considered 
  • Retail/eCommerce/Grocery industry knowledge a plus
