Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to maximize delivery efficiency
- Manage and monitor systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Write and maintain automation scripts to increase repeatability and decrease time required to keep our system running
- Improve reliability, availability, and performance of the highly scaling cloud systems with recovery automation
- Plan and develop automated test for cloud-based products in agile development approach
- Research new technologies, techniques, and 3rd party frameworks to benefit the automation
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or any related discipline
- 2+ years work experience in development / IT teams focusing on scripting, automating, configuring, and troubleshooting on cloud and hybrid-based environments.
- Cloud experience, preferably in AliCloud/GCP/AWS
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, Docker)
- Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks and development and production environments (e.g., Apache, MySql, MongoDB, MQ, PolarDB, NGINX)
- Experience with monitoring systems and automation software (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher, EKS, etc…)
- Experience with configuration management and application performance tools
- Automated monitoring and recovery development for highly scalable systems
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps, CI/CD experience and Agile principles
- Excellent team player, independent, self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication, interpersonal relationship, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Speak of Mandarin will be an advantage
- Working Location: Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate
