Key Accountabilities:


In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Subject Matter Expert

  • To be responsible for the technical architecture & design patterns for all Infrastructure related solutions, identifying new technology standards to ensure the governance of corporate architecture
  • Responsible in administrating OS(Windows/Linux), System(Exchange Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, ATG and Side module), VMWare
  • Manage overall infrastructure services such as data center, network, storage, backup, desktop, etc.
  • Migrate Data Centers onto Cloud Platforms following best practices on migration approaches, security hardening and data consistency
  • Develop and maintain documentation, knowledgebase, infrastructure inventory records for team’s and vendor’s future references
  • Responsible for day-to-day Database Administration and Operations
  • Collaborate with different Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other domains sorting out any potential issues during the design and implementation phases

 Collaboration and stakeholder relationships

  • Promote the adoption of the infrastructure related tools and metrics to the team and business users
  • Assist in preparing the business cases such as budget, architecture, solution comparison, pros and cons for obtaining business approval
  • Work with project managers and stakeholders on assigned and ad-hoc tasks throughout the project life cycle
  • Work with other Technology teams leveraging a shared platforms and services to maximize the Return On Investment (ROI) and minimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) from Infrastructure perspective

 Infrastructure sustainability

  • Introduce necessary standard, process and best practice for all Infrastructure services to ensure the SLA and compliance
  • Review and update technical document to facilitate both operation and technical teams on performing daily support
  • Troubleshoot problems, work out resolutions with team and escalate the problem to stake holder
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) team defining the quality assurance test plans that meet the company practices and standards
  • Assist the infrastructure manager in shaping the future infrastructure roadmap through solution sourcing, conducting proof of concepts, attending  seminars, subscription to online news channels, and meeting with key vendors.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Computer Science with at least 2 years of experience around Infrastructure, including but not limited to system, network, security, operations
  • Experience in bigger-setup company, preferably in Retail but not a must
  • Excellent knowledge and concept in e-Commerce, Retail, Cloud technology, virtualization and Linux is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in technical architecture for mission-critical systems
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, teamwork and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with desire and ability to learn quickly
  • Willing to support on-site in non-office hours
  • Excellent command in English and Chinese/ Cantonese
  • Candidates with immediate availability is highly preferred
