Job Purpose: 

Assist in enterprise system development and implementation.

Key Accountabilities:

• In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist System Development Manager (SDM) to ensure the system implemented or supported can meet requirements on an agreed time, budget, scope and quality;
• Support the implementations of enterprise systems included RMS, POS, BI;
• Liaise with vendor; participate in development and testing activities, and perform support and maintenance activities;
• Engage internal departments in continuous process improvements and suggest solutions to drive efficiency;
• Participate in feasibility study, enterprise system design, technology research, and solution sourcing;
• Gather requirements from users and build appropriate solutions to carry out the necessary tasks, and to ensure the development of all solution components meeting the requirements and compliance standards;
• Transform both user and business requirements to functional and system specifications;
• Provide data analytics and reporting solutions to user's regular and adhoc enquiries;
• Identify potential risks driven by systems and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of API and relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Experience in API and system integration is compulsory, but not necessary in Retail sector
• Experience in the below skills are highly preferred, but not compulsory:
• NET programming, Node.js, RESTful API development, SQL and No-SQL database
• Linux shell scripting or web application development
• Mobile app design and development (iOS/Android)
• Cloud Computing platform would be an added advantage
• Detail-minded and ability to meet deadlines
• Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese
• Candidates with immediate availability is a plus
