Job Description
Job Descriptions:
- To work on system design, development, implementation and support of financial / insurance application systems to support the Corporation’s businesses;
- To communicate with business / user departments on gathering and analysing user requirements, designing and developing system solutions, and preparation of system documentations during different stages of the systems development;
- To take part in the daily support of applications and researches on new tools and technologies; and
- The employment will be on contract basis subject to renewal.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in development, implementation and support of business application systems;
- Experience in some of the following technologies:
- Oracle DBMS, PL/SQL;
- Java, web applications, Unix / Windows scripts;
- Crystal Reports, JasperReports, SQL Server Reporting;
- MS Access VBA; and
- Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Prior exposure in the following industries / application areas an advantage:
- Banking, loans, finance or insurance industries;
- Accounting system interfaces; and
- BI and analytics applications.
- Ability to perform requirements analysis, design, development and systems implementation with minimal supervision;
- Analytic and problem problem-solving skills; and
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
