Job Description

We are looking for Cloud Engineer and Architects to join us in Hong Kong

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist APAC regional Cloud Platform SME, enhance APAC regional cloud architecture, procedure and documentation quality align with global standard
  • For each cloud onboarding request, review low level design document provided by cloud managed service provider
  • Review cloud change management request of accountable cloud IaaS and PaaS implementations
  • Draft and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for regional team, markets and managed service provider to follow
  • Azure user access administrator (IAM control), regular RBAC review
  • Collect and review financial data and develop cloud usage reports, periodically optimize cloud cost, forecast future cloud spent trend and budgeting
  • Create and update cloud application reference architecture, starter kits and practical guidance
  • Guide application team through their cloud modernization journey and accelerate the adoption of cloud native technology using container and serverless technologies
  • Compliance of accountable Cloud Platform services (legal, regulatory and security related compliance). Work closely with Information Security team to ensure security by design, provide essential support to project team and guide cloud managed service provider to fix cloud security risks in a timely manner, if applicable.
  • Work closely with internal or external team in Infra-as-code, DevOps CI/CD related initiatives

Project Delivery

  • Be able to manage orchestrate and manage cloud projects
  • Contribute to relevant cloud migration projects in local markets
  • Advice on 3rd party vendors and tools as well as proposed solutions, including propose alternatives

Audit

  • Support the response to internal & potential external auditors
  • Own and follow up on auditor’s findings on a timely manner
  • Define audit remediation activities according to the severity of the findings

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degrees with IT knowledge
  • Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification, or the candidate is able to commit to obtain either certification within 3 months after onboarding (We have chance to sponsor exam voucher to right candidate)

Preferred Skills:

  • DevOps Certification
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Windows and/or Linux Certification

Experience:

  • Welcome fresh graduate or 1-2 years public cloud hands-on experience candidate with growth mindset and passion with self-learning as Cloud Engineer
  • For candidate with 5+ years public cloud hands-on experience, can be considered as Cloud Solution Architect
  • Organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic, fast learning, growth mindset
  • Excellent execution skill and can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage several activities in parallel and deliver under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team Player and Collaborator with effective communication skills
  • Passion to deliver high quality solutions and aim for constant improvements
