Job Description
Job Scope:
- Provide legal services to the Company
- Draft and review legal agreements, administrative forms / declarations, marketing literature, product documents and sales materials
- Coordinate with external lawyers and various internal departments
- Review and give comment on the draft provided by the external lawyers
- Review policy terms and conditions of new insurance products
- Review proposals of new insurance products
- Give legal advice on complaint cases or enquiry from regulators
- Maintain records of the legal agreement
- Handle background checks of brokerage companies
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree / Juris Doctor Degree
- Postgraduate Certificate in Laws
- Qualified Solicitor / Barrister
- At least 3 years post qualification experience
- In-house legal working experience in financial / insurance industry is preferred
- Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and bilingual drafting skills
- Detailed-minded, self-motivated and able to work in fast paced environment
- A good team player, able to work proactively and independently
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Familiar with Chinese characters input, and Fluency in Putonghua is a plus
- Initiative, self-motivated, logical mind, good reasoning and able to work independently
