Data Analytics Consultant

Our client is a locally based consultancy firm focused on business intelligence and data analytics software, targeting financial and insurance companies. They have been in the market for almost a decade now, with several products that they have become specialists in. They have recently expanded their remit into machine learning software and are looking to expand their teams as well, to work on-site with their clients across FSI, Insurance, and other industries.

This role will require strong technical skills, paired with good customer engagement skills. General job duties are interpreting large data sources, data visualization, building mathematical models and communicating data insights to various stakeholders.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

• Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics / Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years in a Data-related position with commercial or consultancy / client-facing experience. More junior candidates will be considered as well
• Track record in hands-on experience with Qlik and/or Alteryx, with a strong ability to conduct data visualization
• Relevant certifications are a plus
• Ideally experienced in Cloud platforms, and modern data tools
• Strong communicator in English, ideally Cantonese also
