Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- To oversee the Product Development Process of assigned products including product strategy, market research, design and procurement. Ensure timely delivery and compliant with company’s guidelines
- Actively participate in designing the end-to-end user experience
- Actively involved with exploring innovative ideas or special projects and see it through from idea incubation to market launch and challenge the status quo
- Actively liaise with various functions such as Actuarial, Marketing and IT on product architecture and implementation, assumptions justification and risk assessment throughout the Product Development and Pricing Process
- Explore the leverage of reinsurance solutions in new product strategies and conduct negotiation with reinsurance partners on reinsurance rates and terms for the best interest of the company.
- Review regular business reports for management and support ad-hoc special projects on demand
Job Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in insurance industry
- Strong business acumen, numeric sense and attention to detail
- Mature with excellent presentation and people management skills
- Preference given to actuarial, consulting, or insurance product background
- Preference given to those working in agile environment or projects that require coordination across different functions
- Good knowledge in Insurance principles and cost-benefit analysis
- Good communication, problem solving skills and coaching skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
- Knowledge in IT or fintech is an advantage
