Job Description
Support strategic marketing initiatives in implementing TLB’s strategy and business growth. The incumbent will actively collaborate in the development of strategic plans, advise management and drive consistent and sustainable marketing and communication practices.
The role also provides marketing and communications support for various company initiatives and will assist in the development of action plans while delivering high quality internal and external marketing and communication assets to support those business/functional activities.
Helping to drive employee engagement and maintain/influence internal/external stakeholder relationships will also be a key component of this role. The incumbent will support the logistical planning and coordination of activities for the company, including event planning, developing and maintaining content to ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout the businesses.
Responsibilities:-
- Manage marketing and communications for all corporate branding areas including community and media relations, public and government affairs, corporate social responsibility, and internal communications.
- Design, implement, and facilitate the annual marketing & communications plan for TLB as well as for its Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda branches.
- Lead and act as liaison with Product Development, Sales & Distribution, Underwriting, and Customer Fulfillment teams to provide end-to-end MarComms support for these functions including, but not limited to, product launches, marketing collateral development, distribution guides, and related customer and corporate communications.
- Manage the development of Marketing collateral and Company Websites specifically:
- Oversee the development of collateral and all marketing materials consistent with TLB branding guidelines and product design process.
- In cooperation with the Sales team, develop and coordinate with other relevant functions all content changes to the TLB HK and SG Broker and consumer websites.
- Oversee and implement the Company’s social media strategy, including the maintenance of the Company’s social media account (LinkedIn).
- Oversee the annual updates of all marketing collaterals and ensure that all marketing content and services are delivered in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement corporate communications activities including:
- Crafting and distribution of message to distributors and employees and guidance on and assistance with media relations;
- Communicate information to distributors relative to products, software updates, interest rates, quarterly investment overviews and organizational changes.
- Manage external vendors providing services as required
- Event planning for both external and internal events as required
Requirements:
- A Degree or higher qualification in Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 4 years marketing experience in the financial services industry, insurance background is a plus
- Experience in the design and marketing of investment/accumulation style products.
- Experience in the Insurance field, marketing to High Net Worth and Affluent consumer segments in Asia an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital media a plus
- Excellent English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) communications skills, both verbal and written as well as proficiency in fundamental office work platforms (i.e. Word, PPT, MS Teams, Excel, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and juggle several projects from inception to implementation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-functionally across diverse teams as well as operating autonomously with guidance as needed.
- Proactive, dynamic and entrepreneurial in approach to tasks.
- A team player who strikes the right balance between consulting with the wider management team and acting decisively to get results
