Job Description
As the Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will assist in internal process improvements towards Hong Kong Risk-based Capital (HKRBC) framework implementation; and perform actuarial valuations in accordance with regulations and requirements from the group.
Other responsibilities include:
- Perform routine tasks such as pricing, business plan projections, experience study and regulatory filing
- Assist in providing actuarial services and support to other departments
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required
The Senior Actuarial Analyst requires excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated, able to work independently as well as able to work smoothly with others as a group.
Other key skills required for the role:
- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other mathematics-related fields
- 2 or more years of working experiences in actuarial field
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Basic understanding on Pension and Mutual Fund products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint), with advanced knowledge in Excel VBA, Access and/or SAS a plus
- Strong computer software/programming
