MAIN PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND OF THE POSITION
This role is dedicated to support various sourcing activities in indirect procurement. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend (including but not limit to sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract activities), search for better deals, manage vendors and find more suitable suppliers.

The procurement team is part of the COIO (Chief Operating and Information Office) professional family and the position will report directly to the Procurement Manager.

The role aims to demonstrate procurement value whenever possible across the 4 key pillars:

    • Business efficiency by discovering profitable suppliers
    • Market Intelligence by initiating partnerships
    • Risk and Compliance by adhering to policy

KEY SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations

Devise, lead and execute procurement and sourcing strategies

Assist business unit in the Procurement initiatives and ensure compliance to internal policy;

Perform all procurement, pre-qualification, tender, negotiation and contracting activities;

Oversees category domain in assigned areas;

Conduct financial and contractual negotiations with suppliers;

Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking;

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness;

Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities;

Support AXA's vendor risk framework whenever applicable;

Assist in implementing change and develop new process to better procure goods and services

Ensure principles of value for money, transparency, fairness, efficiency and accountability are evident in all company dealings.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma holder or above in supply chain management, business administration or related disciplines preferred but not compulsory
• Previous experience in using P2P or other procurement tools and/or system a plus
• Familiar with tendering process is desirable
• Excellent communication skills in both English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good time management skills, self motivated, proactive and with a "can do" spirit
• A good team player, result-oriented, detailed-mind, able to work in fast paced working environment and can work under pressure
