Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver consistently accurate and timely financial and management reporting, with a focus on expenses reporting, in accordance with the group and internal reporting requirements by direct/ indirect; by BU/ Department/ LOB, etc.;
  • Responsible for expenses monitoring, for example, identifying and explaining expenses variances, working closely with various teams to understand the key drivers of expenses and substantiating expenses allocation policy;
  • Closely work with procurement teams, IT, and all departments to ensure CAPEX and OPEX are aligned with the budget;
  • Take the key responsibility in the execution of operating expenses and CAPEX budgeting and forecasting for all lines of business, and prepare details analysis of expenses movements, a summary of saving analysis, and cost analysis by initiative;
  • Participate in the strategic plan (i.e. in particular on Expenses Allocation part) for HK business, information analysis, market research, and other duties as assigned from time to time;
  • Participate in the development of financial system projects, and provide support to annual audits with a focus on expense reporting and analysis.

Qualification and Experience Requirement:
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in reporting and planning experience;
  • Experience with IFRS 17 Expenses allocation is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience in SAP;
  • Degree holder in accounting and finance;
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese;

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High energy and the enthusiasm to improve processes
  • An outgoing character with a strong interest and a Can-Do attitude to explore new sources and liaison with different stakeholders
