Job Description

• Lead pre-season development activities & conducting market scans for new trends to proactively present to the Brands
• Provides market intelligence on functional capabilities and new trends for the business development
• Executes timely product developments to achieve design vision and proactively flags issues
• Have an in-depth knowledge of development calendar and take a proactive approach to all deadlines.
• Work with departments and suppliers to resolve critical issues in development and execution.
• Enhance the technical capabilities within the region
• Lead and manage key relationships with the key stakeholders as in business partners and suppliers
• Monthly updates to management as to KPIs and key challenges and resolutions

Responsibilities

• Drive the quality strategies and consistencies in performance in the region from development to bulk executions.
• Collaborates with Department and Function Managers as to the strategies to select the appropriate contractors that will meet Brands product standards in a timely and cost effective manner.
• To determine, develop and recommend appropriate planning, processes and procedures, to ensure that all products developed meet the standards.
• Set appropriate KPIs as to developments, adoption rates, cost savings.
• Implement and monitor a process including capability and risk assessment of departments and functional heads.

Requirements

• At least 15 years solid business explore experience, of which minimum 8 years in the management position
• Strong leadership & problem solving skills, self-driven & proactive. Be able to influence Brands
  
• Strong understanding of garment, and Home & Life products.
• Excellent communication, inter-personal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong sourcing skills
• Good managerial skills, give clear and precise instructions and guidelines to teams
• Capability of solving production problem
• Hands-on and roll-up-sleeve type of working style
• Must be aggressive with self development
• Flexible, diligent, extremely organized and details-oriented
• Higher diploma or Degree in Business, Textiles or related field preferred
• With MNC Buying Office experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken and written English and preferable Chinese
