Job Description
- Perform analysis on business operations, technology and ecosystem trends to identify growth opportunities
- Assist in the planning, execution and renewal of ASTRI’s corporate and business strategies
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders in the innovation and technology ecosystem to facilitate interest alignment and ensure effective implementation of ASTRI’s strategic plans
- Lead the formation, execution and continuous improvements of ecosystem partnership programs to enhance commercialisation potentials of ASTRI’s innovation outcomes;
- Lead special projects of strategic importance to ASTRI
- Perform other related assignments as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Engineering or related disciplines; advanced degree(s) an asset
- At least 10 years of cross-functional experience in technology-based industries, with extensive knowledge of the information and communications technology ecosystem
- Prior working experience in other regional market(s) besides Hong Kong
- Prior working experience with research organisations and/or technology start-up communities an asset
- Strong qualitative, quantitative and time management skills
- Process a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and a socially responsible mindset; passionate about learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate difficult concepts
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
