Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring critical path including delivery of trims and fabric to supplier for on-time delivery of finished goods to designated customers / markets;
- Manage weekly production risk assessment and work on corrective action plan with suppliers;
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of PO including pricing, terms and all relevant data;
- Coordinate with suppliers for production details and monitor the production progress to ensure on-time delivery;
- Negotiate with factories on production details and any related issues;
- Diagnose production problem and work with factory to present alternatives with technical advice to manager;
- Update order status and weekly schedule on delivery process;
- Work with Logistics team for shipment, custom issues and delivery;
- Assistant in ad hoc projects if needed.
- Degree or above in Textile or related discipline;
- 5+ years of relevant working experience, preferably gained in buying office or multi-national companies;
- Good technical knowledge in garment/yarn constructions, fabric development and washing;
- Team player with flexible mind-set and ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Sound communication, interpersonal, planning & organization skills;
- Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
