Job Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering divisions across the business sites within global operations
• Plan, develop and implement engineering division strategies including mission, competitive landscape, roadmap, equipment, technology/industry advancements to achieve the business growth plan.
• Build a strong engineering function across the organization. Foster a safe, positive, culture of innovation, collaboration and consensus building around product and process engineering activities
• Assist with strategy and execution of new customer business development
• Lead standardized work (SOP/WI) for all Engineering roles and to ensure conformance to the QMS process.
• Optimize the process of introducing a new product successfully into manufacture and support through the lifecycle
• Implement common programs for DFx and Value Analysis Value Engineering across all sites ensuring same look and feel
• Lead/ Control BOM/ configuration management, DFM, Product Data Management, work instructions and associated software
• Work with Supply Chain & Design to build up preferred suppliers for design and cost reduction supporting VAVE & component Engineering Services
• Define and own aggressive KPIs for quality, performance, delivery and cost for all EMS projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree  or above, in an engineering discipline, and 10+ years experience in manufacturing of electrical products.
• Strong analytical strength and the ability to evaluate and analyze multiple forms of engineering data, specifications, RFQ’s and participates in bid and proposal activities.
• Strong in process management with experience in product development, product engineering, component engineering, customer issue management & supplier issue handling. Good understanding in Quality Management Systems is essential.
• Experience in Lead, to motivate and to equip a team both direct & indirect to meet the set goals (budgets and projects), manage changes and continuous process improvement.
• A team player with exceptional communication skills both written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Frequent travel will be required to Global manufacturing sites and to customer sites
• A strong desire to learn & natural motivator capable of presenting to customers & supply partners.
