Job Description for Customer Quality Manager
The Customer Quality Manager is the key link between the customer and internal RTX functions. Accountable for handling quality in relation to the customer including developing tools and methods for the customer quality process.
Responsibilities:
The Customer Quality Manager is the key link between the customer and internal RTX functions. Accountable for handling quality in relation to the customer including developing tools and methods for the customer quality process.
Responsibilities:
- Interface between RTX and the customers
- Work closely with our sales manager and key account managers on customer’s quality complaints and work out the corrective and preventive actions accordingly
- Handle RMA and 8D reporting
- Driving the team or supplier for root cause analysis
- Evaluate customer failure and drive for long term preventive actions
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of formal problem-solving tools
- Team player with leadership trait
- Self-motivated and dedicated
- Senior behavior and Influencing skills are a prerequisite
- Good professional attributes, communication and coordination skills
- University graduate in engineering/quality disciplines
- Quality Statistical knowledge and experience
- Extensive experience of working with suppliers and customers
- 5 years solid experience in quality management with telecommunication working environment, preferably in EMS or corporate plant
- Possesses quality mind set to drive for total customer satisfaction and quality excellence
- Exposure in executing quality management such as TQM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, APQP, etc.
- Knowledge on Mechanical, Electronic design and manufacturing processes
- High proficiency in both English and Chinese
