Job Description
CULTURE PROMOTION AND EVENTS OFFICE
Technical Officer (Ref. 22051914-IE)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist in marketing and publicity related activities of the Office for promotion of art and culture on campus;
(b) be responsible for the development, creation and production of multimedia marketing tools across online and offline platforms, including but not limited to the making of audio, video and photography works;
(c) plan and develop the content of all multi-media works from filming, recording, shooting to editing, V/O and music mixing, still and motion graphic design, video format optimization for different distribution platforms as well as photo shooting and re-touching;
(d) assist in the implementation of marketing activities and other art and cultural programmes of the Office;
(e) provide logistic and administrative support to all marketing related matters including the photo and video library of the Office;
(f) work closely with all parties, both internal and external, to help facilitating the creation of multimedia content; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Office or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree or an equivalent academic qualification in a related discipline;
(b) at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience;
(c) solid knowledge of and experience in mastering various video and photo editing, and post-production software, such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator etc;
(d) a strong sense of responsibility, an enthusiastic and positive working attitude, ability to work independently as well as in a team;
(e) an excellent command of English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua;
(f) good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(g) ability to work under pressure and independently in meeting deadlines.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
