The Job

As a key member of our Now TV content development team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and acquisition of content services for pay television as well as for Now E. 

• participate in developing the overall content roadmap and strategy
• identify potential content providers (both local and international), evaluate content proposals, determine programming suitability, support contract negotiations resulting in new content launches, facilitate on-demand content scheduling
• monitor content profitability and collaborate with marketing and product development teams to devise new business opportunities and launch new services

The Person

• University graduate with Business related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong business acumen with good understanding of the local and /or regional TV, Over-the-Top and telecommunication markets. Good knowledge of the media industry is a plus
• Self motivated and able to deliver under tight timelines
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including English and Mandarin
• Willing to travel and international experience is a definite advantage
