• Researching on maritime history or other assigned topics and providing editorial assistance
• Sorting photos and identifying copyright for publishing purpose
• Assisting with building index and chronicles for publishing
• Cataloguing of books according to library standard
• Digitalization of archival materials (e.g. photos, documents, objects) and develop data base
• Managing and classifying in-house archival materials systematically
• Completing ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, major in librarian studies or maritime related subjects would be an advantage
• Having experience in publishing and research at university, or as research assistant or librarian will be an advantage
• Organized, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Able to meet schedule
• Good command of written Chinese, English, and Mandarin
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office - MS Word, Excel, PPT and word processing
• Immediate availability is preferred
