You will be responsible for developing and overseeing the pipeline of new research projects from bench to bedside. This will be an all-rounded role involved in setting up a new branch in Hong Kong.

Our client is a listed biopharmaceutical in Hong Kong that focuses on oncology research, and is currently developing a new branch focused on cancer diagnostics.

Description

• Develop new R&D project pipelines, set up experimental protocals and provide hands-on support in implementing experimental designs
• Ensure the effectiveness and timeliness of experiments conducted
• Oversee funding applications and draft grant proposals
• Develop professional networks with academic and research institutions
• Provide technical assistance for other R&D functions
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Profile

• PhD or Masters in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
• 3-5+ years of scientific research experience, preferably in oncology and/or NGS research
• Experience and successful track record in a start-up company is highly valued
• Proficient in molecular lab techniques, an MLT I/II license is a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Candidates with less qualification and experience will be considered Assistant PM or SO
