Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Manage suppliers and drive their performance improvement, to ensure products supplied to MGI meet the pre-determined standards of compliance, quality, delivery reliability, flexibility, lowest integral cost and financial stability.
• Achieve the assigned supplier’s management improvement of Cost competitiveness, Leadtime reduction, delivery reliability and quality improvement etc., to contribute in achieving company target of sustainable profitable growth.
• Ensure that optimized TCO (cost, quality, availability) are assured in product and business creation, and through their full life cycle.
• Drive early supplier involvement and identify cost drivers to influence design decision making and achieve target cost.
• Be responsible for executing and continuously driving improvement for all key purchasing processes with suppliers, e.g. New product cost management, Annual negotiation, Business review meeting, Supplier scorecard, Supplier improvement program, etc.
• Manage risk relating to quality, cost, delivery, supply of purchases and fulfilment of social compliance standard.
• To manage and strengthen the supplier relationship in a professional, systematic, and ethical way
• Collaborate closely with related functions of FE and global team to optimize the working process in value chain.

• University degree holder is preferred
• Minimum 5 – 8 years solid purchasing experience, experience in project management is a plus.
• Strong leadership, act with integrity, business acumen and strong negotiation skills
• Good communication, a self-motivated team player with initiative to work under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
• High competency level in MS Office applications
• SAP software experience is an advantage
