Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Manage component suppliers and drive their performance improvement, to ensure products supplied to MGI meet the pre-determined standards of quality, delivery reliability, flexibility, lowest integral cost and financial stability.
• To achieve the purchasing functional targets of Leadtime reduction, delivery reliability, cost reduction and quality improvement etc., to contribute in achieving company target of sustainable profitable growth
• Responsible for executing all key purchasing processes with component suppliers; manage the end-to-end PO process, delivery management, Business review meeting, Supplier score card, Supplier improvement program
• To participate in new supplier scouting and manage 2nd tier suppliers when needed.
• To ensure all purchasing activities are in line with the company’s policy and continuously drive improvement in all areas.
• To manage and strengthen the supplier relationship in a professional, systematic and ethical way
• Work and cooperate closely with Asia or Swiss PD, Engineering, Quality, Planning and all related functions to optimize the working process in Asia or Swiss supply chain.
• To participate in new supplier scouting and manage 2nd tier suppliers when needed.
• Assess, manage, and mitigate risks
• Support in driving change in the Purchasing Team, Sourcing Department and Asia Supply Chain, play as a role model to live the MGI value, culture and behaviors.

Job Specifications:

• Diploma holder or above in Purchasing or Supply Chain, or equivalent
• Solid purchasing skills (min. 5years experience, preferably in Watch components/ Watch/Jewelry/Fashion industries)
• Possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal relationship and negotiation skills
• Result oriented with Can-Do spirit
• A self-motivated good team player with initiative to work under pressure, fast learner with continuous improvement mind-set
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
• SAP software experience is required
• High competency level in MS office applications
