Responsibilities:

• To supervise food team
• Handle food item – meat, processed food, beverage, etc
• Lead the team to achieve company strategies and develop purchasing plan to maximize cost savings
• Responsible for the purchasing activities from sourcing, price negotiation, vendor selection, plant visit and stock management
• Periodical / Ad hoc price comparison
• Work closely with Product Development Team on sourcing and developing new items
• Supply chain management system development with existing suppliers
• Conduct interviews with new suppliers for quotations and specifications
• Monito suppliers’ performance and conduct suppliers’ appraisals
• Forecast the price and market trends
• Follow daily complaints
• Work with warehouse staff to maintain sufficient stock

Requirements

• Degree or above with minimum 5 years related working experience in sizeable organization, preferably in F&B industry
• Able to work independently
• Resourceful on vendor portfolios
• Good communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Good team player, self-initiative and strong sense of responsibility
• Familiar with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Knowledge on MS Dynamic 365 is an advantage
