Responsible to carry out and deliver category sourcing strategy, initiate and drive YOY grow on responsible area. Be independent to analyze business situation and propose quality sourcing decision.

Responsible for the end to end project delivery to ensure project are delivered on time in full and all set KPIs meet. A team player and project leader to lead cross functional team project development activities

Responsible for the ongoing management and development of our Asia supplier base to support the growth ambition of the category. Responsible for driving optimum profitability by ensuring competitive costing. Responsible for maintaining a high standard of service performance to ensure on shelf availability for the business.

Work closely with internal customers to cater their needs and provide market insight in his/her managed categories.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

• Working within a Buying team to provide sourcing solutions for the development and delivery of the category.  
• Fully accountable for on time, end-to-end product delivery to an agreed margin, cost and quality.
• Working collaboratively with local cross-functional Quality and Supply Chain teams as well as global stakeholders based in retail market.
• Having a deep understanding our retail markets and customers to drive the best possible product offer for our brands/retailers.
• Managing key stakeholders of different levels throughout the end-to-end process to deliver the required results.
• Supporting in the development of a global sourcing strategy to deliver global category and brand plans.
• Managing our Asia supplier base, identifying the partner suppliers and manufacturers in the region and forging strong ongoing relationships.
• Negotiating commercial benefits with suppliers to obtain the best value & maximum profitability for the business.
• Working closely with the Quality & Ethics team to ensure supplier compliance and brand protection at all times.

Key Position Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant buying experience
• Supplier management experience.
• Proven track record of high profile product development and delivery.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders of different levels across different regions globally.
• Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial awareness.
• High level of written and spoken communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
