Job Description

• Manage & deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies, including but not limited to Public Sectors, Financial Service Companies, Commercial Companies and NGO.
This Procurement Manager are responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the purchasing process within the organisation. This involves setting purchasing policies, and overall management of purchasing processes from Supplier Qualification till Negotiations.
The role also involves setting and facilitating the overall purchasing strategy. In addition, you will need to work with other professionals both inside and outside the organisation regarding purchasing, including communicating with managers, engineers, administrators, and sales representatives. You will also work with vendors and suppliers to ensure the procurement process runs smoothly and improving it where necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Key leader across Asia regions (HK,CN,TW) to developing a procurement business plan for the organisation and ensuring that’s it’s communicated.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the market to ensure best value and practices are maintained for all Categories - IT, Software, Subcontracting and Indirect.
• Forecasting ongoing demand for goods and services.
• Negotiating contracts and service agreements with suppliers for all categories.
• Acting as the main contact point for organisational procurement related questions.
• Researching options to source best value products and services.
• Forecasting price trends and predicting how they will affect the organisation.
• Running RFPs and evaluating bids before making recommendations that make the most commercial sense for the organisation.
• Ensuring contract files are stored and maintained securely and according to legal requirements.
• Creating and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels internally as well as current and new suppliers.
• Developing strategies to ensure that supplier performance is monitored.
• Ongoing Review of contracts to ensure they represent best value.
• Ensuring procurement sources are secure and sustainable.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Extensive knowledge developed working in a procurement role
• Proven leadership skills at a senior level.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced organisation.
• Evidence of commercial and financial awareness.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of building and maintaining a vendor programme.
• Proven ability to negotiate to achieve best value across all categories .
• Evidence of the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to make important decisions in a pressurised environment.
• Proven project management skills.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba
• Well versed in Microsoft Packages
