Job Description
Job functions:
- Lead and oversee regional sourcing teams, manage the performance and compliance to policy and procedure;
- Manage sourcing team to well collaborate with counterpart across the Group to identify the material, component and product needs;
- Formulate and responsible for departmental goals and strategies that align with company goads
- Monitor the vendor’s performance to ensure the fulfillment of safety, quality, pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms and other requirements
- Develop and maintain the long term partnership with vendors, manage vendor selection and evaluation, and improvement initiatives;
- Formulate and execute the contract management and policy, and effective negotiate prices
- Analysis and share with the management in regular basis the updated market information and price trend;
- Develop and drive the strategic programs such as cost saving initiative, continuous improvement projects and monitor the execution and goals achievements;
- Provide quick response and implement effective plans and solutions to meet the emerging needs
- Networking with target suppliers, and industry practitioners
- Perform ad hoc assignment by management
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Procurement, Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines;
- Over 8 years strategic procurement and sourcing, development of material supplier / sub-contractor, and project management experience preferably gained from multinational or sizeable manufacturing companies with minimum 5 years in managerial position;
- Solid experience in material sourcing of Printing / Paper Products / Toys & Gifts Industry would be an advantage;
- Global sourcing experience and strong experience in managing China vendors
- Strong people management skill and influencing skill;
- Excellent analytical, communication & negotiation skills;
- Result-oriented, team player
- Good command of written and spoken English, and Chinese/Mandarin;
- Travel to Asian countries is required
