Job Description
Our client is a highly reputed handbag manufacturer headquartered in Hong Kong (Kwun Tong) with its own factory and production line in Guangdong with approx 100 headcounts. Currently, they are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to support HK and China teams in full-scale handbag lines and categories (Casual to Evening). This role reports to the Team Manager.
About The Role:
- Good fashion sense and deep understanding of market trends
- Conduct market and competitor research and analysis. Translate the finding result as a business objective with the planning of execution
- Handle the full scale of production from ideal, conceptual design, demo, sampling, production, and quality checking
- Work closely with both HK and China teams for the production progress
- Report to the manager about the status in a timely manner
- Post-production follow up, shipment, and client coordination
- Assist Manager with Ad-Hoc tasks when needed
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or above in product/fashion design or related disciplines
- 5 years or above experience in handbag products
- Good sense of fashion with creativity mindset
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and design-related application
- Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English
- Occasional travel to China is required
