Job Description
The Children’s Place (TCP) is the largest pure-play children’s specialty apparel retailer in North America with over 1,000 points of global distribution. Our global headquarters is located in Secaucus, NJ (US) and our regional hub office is located in Hong Kong where we have exciting internship opportunities available in the following functions:
- Global Sourcing (Merchandising and Raw Materials Procurement)
- Product Quality and Testing
- Human Resources
- Finance
Responsibilities:
In addition to participating on a team project that is presented to the TCP senior leadership team, other highlights of the program include:
- 10-week paid salary
- Hands on experience learning a variety of operational systems and technology
- Formal training curriculum covering comprehensive development topics and projects
(E.g. Presentation Skills and Excel Skills) - Small group discussions with members of our senior leadership team
- Must be permitted to work in Hong Kong
- Able to work full-time for 10 uninterrupted weeks in the summer between June 20 to August 26, 2022
- Currently studying Year 3 or Year 4 at university or recently graduated
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both verbal and written English; Mandarin is preferred
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to quickly learn technical applications and processes
- Currently studying or graduated from a relevant discipline
Supply Chain Management / Fashion and Textiles / Business Administration (Human Resources or Accounting)
