Merchandiser/Asst. Merchandisers(garment)

Responsibilities

• Assist product development activity.
• Coordinate tech pack, paper pattern, BOM, reference samples, digital, etc. for garment vendors to cost.
• Keep updated record of sample developments, fit developments, color and print approval, costing and cost sheet submission.
• Assisting new development and new style adoption.
• Maintain an updated contractor/ supplier list.
• Assisting production and shipment process – Order allocation, T&A calendar and WIP management, on time compliance approval execution.
• Distribute color grid to vendors and track lab-dips and strike-off submission/ approval.
• Issue and maintain/ update PO in timely manner.

 Requirements

• High School or above
• 3-5 years of related experience with extensive knowledge in garment field. 
• Good product knowledge in one of the below items:
  • Sweater, lingerie, C&S knit, woven.
• Fair knowledge on product development, pre-production flow and production control
• Self-initiative, mature, responsible, good flexibility on changes, able to work under high pressure and willing to travel
• Must be fluent in English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandiser
