KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and communicate category strategy for department business
• Deliver Sales and GP goals for assigned category
• Proactive in sales opportunity and product sourcing for a best merchandising assortment to fulfil demand and differentiate from competitors
• Analyze sales & GP for assigned category time to time and take proper action to maximize performance , monitor inventory level against turnover and forecast sales demand to make sure stocks are in healthy level
• Formulate OTB budget and merchandise strategy, selection, launch plan to achieve the company business objectives
• Work with Line Manager to monitor proper execution of the merchandising strategy, encourage and support the development within team, offer honest and constructive feedback to the team to foster development effectively, facilitate team members in day-to-day works and work with other department in supportive manner
• Require to external exhibition and market visit to keep the category trend up-to-date
• Support on the company initiatives and accept ad hoc tasks

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder in Business/Marketing or related disciplines
• 8 years of working experience in category and merchandising management preferably in Food categories.
• Strong in leadership with good communication, accountable and responsive attitudes
• Strong in analytical skills and high level of commercial sense
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, able to multi-tasks and work under pressure
• Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Buyer
