SENIOR MERCHANDISER – SOFTLINE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sourcing and qualifying factories as needed.
• Working directly with factories on all matters related to new product development-- price negotiations, prototyping and shipping.
• Work directly with customers and retail clients in the North American Market on identifying new product opportunities.
• Product Development: stay tone of the new market trend and take initiative to propose new items/ development to customers
• Bench mark pricing to make sure our sourcing stays competitive

• Strong in communication skills with vendors, customers and able to take initiative and pro-actively solve problems (Mandarin / English proficiency)
• Strong problem solving, analysis skill, details oriented, systematic process approach
• Strong technical in material, production and manufacturing process and quality control
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing, buying office and trading
• Strong in Softline product knowledge, fabric, product development, pricing, negotiation skills and able to manage orders shipment throughout whole process
• Highly Self-Motivation to cultivate business
• Experience in SAP is preferrable
• Proficient in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Typing is a MUST
• University Graduated preferred background in Merchandising and/or Marketing or related discipline will be an advantage
