Job Description
My client is a fast-growing multinational company. They are now looking for a Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop sourcing strategies, cost reduction programs, and new vendor development activities
- Define and implement strategies for optimizing supplier performance, including price, service levels, lead times and product quality
- Managing and developing a vendor/factory base
- Responsible for supplier quality assurance
- Monitor and resolve supply chain, logistics and commercial issues
- Establish and maintain effective regular KPI reporting to monitor the effectiveness of the Supply Chain
- Supplier negotiation: price review and control, claim settlement etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sourcing experience in the Hardgoods category. Sports, Baby products, Kitchenware, SDA, and beauty product experience is an advantages.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluent in Cantonese and English is a Must
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Costing and new vendor development experience is a must
