Responsibilities:

• Implement QA and Sustainability process throughout the product life-cycle from new product development to production
• Work closely with internal and external parties for testing requirements and quality related enquiries
• Prepare and review technical documentation according to standards and regulations
• Review sample, carry out product appraisal and sample approval process
• Provide technical, QA and sustainability support on a wide range of hardgoods categories with knowledge on seasonal, home living, toys and stationery
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions with factories / producers
• Ensure the continuous improvement process of suppliers and producers and conduct supplier evaluation
• Collect and compile quality data, prepare, consolidate, update and file reports
• Carry out defined risk analysis consistently for all products and supplier
• Support new project implementation
• Uphold good and smooth cooperation, continuous communication and data exchange with all internal and external stakeholders
• Build up and maintain good and supportive relationship with Migros staff, suppliers and service providers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree holder on Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or related disciplines
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience with an international sourcing company / European market is an advantage
• Knowledge of European safety standards and legal regulations
• Detail-minded with good time management, organizational and problem-solving skill
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, able to interact with all levels 
• Hardworking, self-motivated, proactive, independent and attention to details  
• A good team player as well as able to work independently 
• Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment 
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin 
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.) and Internet as well as other databases 
• Willing to travel within Asia, focusing on Mainland China
