Our client is a global luxury brand that owns an extensive range of product portfolios. They have own a massive collection of signature product that customers are fancy about. With increasing number of CRM activities, my client pay extra attention on data privacy policies. Therefore, they are now looking for a Regional ParaLegal/ Assistant Legal Manager, to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Data Privacy in Digital and Technology contract review and management
• Support in maintaining effective records and prepares reports to track and monitor progress of privacy matter
• Support Managing Counsel, Compliance in formulating and executing compliance programs and initiatives in Asia Pacific
• Provide legal partnership and collaborate with business and corporate functions at regional and market level
• Conduct research on legal issues with particular focus on technology, data privacy and compliance
• Prepare training materials and conduct training to employees in Asia Pacific
• Manage legal administrative matters including preparation of reports and file management

Requirements

• Diploma holder; Degree holder preferred (LLB)
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in law firm and/or in-house legal department in Data Privacy 
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese; ability to speak Mandarin preferred
