About the client

Our client is a well-known and sizable property developer for both commercial and residential properties in PRC and Hong Kong. The firm strives to become the market leader in the industry, they are growing steadily and have a solid expansion plan with a number of new projects and initiatives rolling out. Their trading volume has grown rapidly, and eager to capture the market and expand further. With the changing needs of the markets and commitment towards sustainable development & growth in the regions, they are currently looking for a Legal professional to join the team in Hong Kong.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Take care of wide range of commercial legal matters for Hong Kong and also has the exposure to support PRC. You are responsible to provide internal legal support to business units and relevant stakeholders. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager in the team. You will support and manage projects and ad hoc assignments.

Other Roles and Responsibilities 

• Draft, review and negotiate wide range of commercial agreements and contracts
• Provide legal comments and advices to the corresponding BU
• Support in leasing, property management, loyalty program, e-commerce, IP, technology projects and other more
• Conduct legal and compliance researches
• Liaise and work closely with different departments
• Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments

 Candidate profile

2+ PQE of legal work experience gained from law firm and/or in-house environment, with business and commercial sense. Strong in contract management and good drafting skills. As one of the main legal representatives in the company, you must possess excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Good language skills, fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Possess a strategic mindset, excellent risk awareness and being ethical. Embrace changes, flexible and open-minded.
