Job Description

Working alongside an exceptionally experienced and well-regarded team within the technology office located in Central, Hong Kong, we are seeking to hire a newly created position of Manager of Business Information Communications with the intention to curate, develop and implement the Company’s ‘One Virtual World’ dashboard, BI associated tools and to design workflows and communication tools that will positively impact employee digital experiences relating to internal information whilst increasing engagement and knowledge.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop the overall strategic initiative for the central BI dashboard, including content, technology & project functionality. 
  • Lead the discovery phase to understand internal communication requirements across business units, people and other pertinent metrics, corporate initiatives and performance .
  • Develop tools and digital channels including a user-friendly dashboard
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure pertinent information is communicated across the business utilising the dashboard and developed tools.
  • Lead the technical build out and understand end user requirements to create visual business information as well as provisioning key insights and recommendations for business metrics that will enable internal knowledge.
  • Partner with IT, marketing, communications, HR and other departments to quickly understand the  diverse business portfolio, metrics are considered and delivered in an formative and visual interactive dashboard.
  • Develop the service level agreement scorecards to support the performance management of third-party providers 
  • Instil a continuous improvement mindset to design and communicate interesting and informative information that will increase internal knowledge, synergy and efficiencies.  
  • Conduct regular presentations to HSH leadership on system utilisation, user feedback and recommendations for continued project developments.  
  • Provides technical support on special projects. 

General requirements:

  • 10+ years in a varied primarily business information / analysis /  technology role
  • Exposure to internal business information / internal communication functions within a complex and geographically diverse company
  • Working knowledge of HTML or coding language highly advantageous 
  • Able to engage senior leaders, lead projects independently with a strong desire to enact change
  • Analytical mindset yet able to convey complex business ideas and solutions to non-technical audience succinctly
  • Self-starter and an independent mindset focused on performance
  • University degree or higher in technology, business or similar.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
