HAECO ITM Limited is a joint venture between HAECO (Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd) and Cathay Pacific, providing inventory technical management services to different airline customers in Hong Kong and around the world. Customers anticipate to benefit saving from the ITM services through synergy of component pooling, sound technical know-how of component engineering, repair and supplier management.

HXITM is now looking for candidates who are interested in this business for the position of Head of Inventory Management.

Scope of Duties: 

• Responsible for overall management of inventory
• Responsible for Managing service levels at optimum inventory level
• Responsible for annual budgets and strategies for inventory management
• Provide commercial team guidance and support during commercial campaigns from inventory and stores perspective
• Responsible for annual budget forecast and managing annual budget targets
• Managing team of Subject matter experts on Inventory planning, stores and logistics
• As part of HAECO ITM leadership team, assist in formulating overall business strategy
• Own overall inventory operations planning, stores and Logistics function within ITM 
• Lead team on inventory operation, optimization and execution, together with stores and logistics function
• Manage service levels at optimum inventory level from Financial and operational perspective
• Lead and prepare annual budgets and strategies for inventory operation planning, Stores and Logistics 
• Responsible for delivering optimal inventory to support operations, whilst minimizing capital expenditure
• Delivery of key inventory turnover measurements, including projects to improve turnover
• Provide directions and strategies for financial forecasts to achieve corporate and department objectives
• Together with Supplier relationship management team, manage multiple and global stores, warehouse and Logistics service provider suppliers

Requirements: 

• Recognized degree in any disciplines, Engineering / Finance/ management related an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading Inventory optimization and management, preferably within aviation industry
• Previous experience on building KPI for inventory e.g., Optimization, Turnover ratio’s, Reconciliations or Surplus management etc.
• Experience on working on inventory optimization tools, IT system and building analytical and statistical models is added advantage
• Knowledge of aviation component supply chain and/or Airline experience is an advantage
• Prior experience of handling multi-cultural team
• Excellent command of English, knowledge of other languages (e.g. Cantonese) is an advantage
• Analytically strong, able to make timely decisions
• Strong business acumen, financially literate – Understands financial impacts of inventory optimization. Able to leverage various inventory solutions to maintain lowest cost of operation for the business
• Strong process management and implementation
• Aware of new technologies to drive continuous improvement within the business
• Strong leadership skills - able to motivate a team of cross cultural background
